K Value Thermal Engineering is pleased to announce the introduction of KROMO™, a new brush-applied, water-based ceramic coating currently undergoing industrial evaluation.
Developed for high-temperature chromium-containing alloys, KROMO™ is designed to help reduce oxidation and limit the formation or accessibility of hexavalent chromium compounds on equipment operating at elevated temperatures.
The product is being assessed for applications including:
• Marine engines and exhaust systems
• Power generation equipment
• Industrial pipework and insulation systems
• Heavy industrial and stationary engines
KROMO™ is water-based, non-toxic, quick drying and easily applied by brush.
